Diezel 4x12 speaker question

Hi folks,

Probably a stupid question, but I appreciate the help!

I have a new 2023 Diezel FL 4x12 with V30's. In mono, the amp is rated 16ohm.

If I wanted to replace two of the V30's with G-12K 100's, I would be getting 16ohm speakers, yes?

That's right, you'd need 16 Ohms speakers. However if I'm not mistaken the G12K-100 is 8 Ohms only.
You are right! But I have a lead on a couple 16ohm ones. Not sure what they are out of, but if that is what I need, then I will get a couple!

You will love the G12K100s with V30s. Perfect mix for a Diezel head. The G12K100s help to smooth the brashness of V30s. The G12 K100/V30speakers in combination make your FX more 3D too. I run my VHX and my VH4 thru two 2x12s, 100s on top of the V30s. You could also try X-pattern

I love all G12K100's in my 412 Diezel cab. Just SO righteously tasty and potent!! 🤘
They are indeed and the more neutral mids seem to work awesome with pretty well any amp. My friend has one and it is one of the best cabs I have ever used. Sounds amazing with my Diezels, Bogners....whatever! I could only get the V30 loaded one though....hence the speaker switch. I will try the V30/G12k combo first and see how she goes..

I use two Diezel 4x12’s either with my Herbert or VH4S Stereo head.

Both cabs have UK Celestion Creamback 75’s across the bottom and V30’s across the top.
Monstrous sound, kills for rehearsals or gigs.
