Hi guys ,

I'm thinking to buy a Diezel Amp , but i really hesitate Between D-moll and Vh4 can someone here can advice me to make the good choice .
How is the D moll ? ( Vintage -modern ... ? )

No one has a D-moll yet so we can't compair the 2.
VH4 owns all IMO but Dmoll could change that.

if i recall correctly, you already have a Hagen. in that case, i'd go for the d-moll :)

No contest - Diezel 2x12. But hey, if yer gonna spring for a 2x12, maybe look at a 4x12 as well - it's not as though 2x12s are half the price of a 4x12, they're almost the same price.

Let us know how it rolls when you get yer VH4. Nice choice.

The Diezel 2x12's are amazing and are perfectly matched for Diezel amps. I tried my VH4 with a Marshal 425A. I liked it at first, but once the honeymoon was over I went back to the Diezel 2x12 with V30s.

i went to my music store today and it was closed
I saw 2 sorts of Cabinets Diezel ( 2x12 )

the first was a D212 Rearloaded R-C
the other a D212 Frontloaded F-C

I wish to know what it the difference between both ?

Because i'll buy a VH-4 and i need the best cab on the market , and because i know all the Pro Diezel are here i asking you guys

Front loaded is a touch more modern sounding with more sonic dispersion. The rear loaded with be more centered in its 'thump' and perhaps sound a bit more traditional. If you're going for a 2x12, it's going to be front loaded with V30s or G12K100 speakers. The choice of speaker will be dependent on what you use the amp for - gigging, jamming, recording, etc. V30s cut in a band context. G12Ks are going to be a bit more balanced.

I had a RL 4x12 to start with, and then had a FL 4x12 (FL = front loaded, RL = rear loaded). While the RL sounded nice - really nice actually - I liked the response, thump, and clarity of the bass and tone of a front loaded cab with Diezels. I still use rear loaded cabs too - just not with my Diezels. My main go-to cab is a FL4x12 loaded with G12K100s and it's thunderous.

Opinions will vary and that's 100% okay. I've got my ears and everyone else has theirs. What works for me might not work for you. Try the 2 cabs out, see which one feels better and sound better to your ears

Uncle Mo

PS - don't be shy, if you're going for a 2x12, load it with 1xV30 and 1xG12K :D
