Diezel Einstein Thread of Pawprints, LEDs, and Settings

JB and Thump, I know you guys are digging your Einsteins...

What are your guys' settings? I'm not a huge gainhead so for rock I'm usually chilling on Ch.1 Mode 3. Settings are, give or take (and I'm playing this through a Marshall 4x12 with Greenbacks which is why the Bass is lower...

Gain 2:30
Treble 2:00
Mid 12:15
Bass 10:00
Deep 12:00
Presence 3:00

What do you guys think the best - Master up/Ch. Volume down or vice versa? I'm keeping Volume at noon for now, but I'm open to suggestions.

Killer. Do you like the v30s? I'm thinking of switching my cab for this amp since the Greenbacks, while great for clean and mellower sounds, aren't holding up that well under high gain. I'll definitely give it more time though.

Also, which channels do the sockets pertain to? 6L6s might be nice for the clean channel...

I'm really digging it. Loop works great as well, first amp with an FX loop. I hooked up a Phase 90 to the serial loop and it worked great. I dont know much about the parallel loop. Got a G-Major on the way so I wanna run that through and see how it goes.

Unfortunately, the high-end cabinets (Diezel, Bogner, etc) are way outta my budget ...

If you want a nice V30 cab, the Randall XL 412 is awesome for $700 new.

Guys, I think I might actually like Ch. 2 with lower gain (around 4, 1030-11 oclock on the dial) for rhythms. It seems warmer and fuller, more "brown" for lack of a better word. Mode 3 seems more suited to an 80s hair tone, maybe?

Either way, this amp is fucking fantastic and I love it. :mrgreen:

I wanted to hear this punk play. Last I heard he was crying when he bent a note, 3 others sounded. Thats got to sound wonderful thru high gain :hide:

It wasn't so much a bend issue as a vibrato issue, I have now solved that. All is well. 8)

I'm working on developing many different types for different situations, I actually find a slow wide sweep type to be the most difficult. Also trying to develop a more aggressive one for rock soloing.
