What's happening here!! Everyone is moving from VH4 to Herbert... even Ventura!! ;)

Should I better start thinking on a Herbert? (NOOOOOOOO I love my VH4!!! )

GAS is in the air.....

Actually I have both of them. Today truly fall in love to VH4 ch3. WOW

Came here to check the posts about serial numbers and dates of Herbert, but search brought me a bit more than I was looking for...

This very amp (001/854) is mine now. A warm thank you to Jukka for pleasant and fluent trade today.

At the moment the plan is to use this powerhouse as a home recording amp, but lets see whether it will replace VH4 or Mako on my main setup. It sounds great, but there just is something Im missing from VH4 tone. For 8-string stuff this must be the best amp I have ever played, but getting the super-big-but-dynamic crunch-tones of Ch2 of VH4 seems to be very difficult. Maybe I just need to calibrate my ears by making some recordings.

Haha, small world :) Yep, this very piece was mine before and I loved it. I liked it best with 4xEL34's + 2x6550's tube mix on. Goncrats!
