Diezel Herbert Classic tone Van Halen brown sounding Video

Playing around with the Herbert's 2nd channel w/ no midcut . Guitar is a PRS CU24 with an Aldrich pickup. Diezel front & rear loaded cabs w/ Celestion V30s X 75s

No FXs totally dry and the playing is a little sloppy

Recorded with a cheap kodak camera mic.

Anyway enjoy RTers

Sounds cool on it's own and nice playing. But i don't hear anything that sounds like a Brown VH tone. I think you'd get closer if you used Greenbacks though instead of the V30/75's.

Sounds like a Herbert pumping out VH hooks. Sterile and dry, tone is good.

Yeah my cheap camera mic really doesn't do it justice but oh well. I need to get a Q3 or something like that with a nice mic.

PRS isn't really the best guitar for EVH either.

But for the Herbert "Brown sounding"

I wouldnt say the Herbert massages the Balls.....
but When I used to stand in front of the cab while playing my Herbert with loud volumes...

it would KNOCK MY NUTS Around like a Punching bag!!
