The vh4 was a weird thing i loved it when i was tuned standard or e flat or even d sounded good, But when tuning lower, Drop B drop A were i play i didnt like where the amp was in the midrange. The feel was different, It was tite but didnt have a bit of bang or sag in the bottom i was looking for. Lead, clean was great but chugging heavy riffing wasnt good for me. Also when in the mix with everyone and another guitar player it wasnt as powerful as i would have liked. It was a bit lack luster to be honest. We did a few albums and ended up just using the vh4 for leads and clean stuff, Very few overdubs it just wasnt working so i dumped it. I thought it was me I sold it to someone and ended up getting into a fight with the guy lol He said it sounded like shit lol anyway, I was hoping for something like this is this an accurate representation of the herbert?
