Straight in. There's a ton of gain available but a boost could be cool to tighten her up for some metal savagery- just not my style as I'm more of a "Hard Rock" guy. Nonetheless, I should give it a shot for S&Gs

Clip sounds great! Nice playing too! That guitar/pickup sound awesome through the VH2. Sounds like a low output pickup. When I borrowed my buddy’s VH4, my LP with a Detroiter, which was the lowest output pup in the house at around 10k, was also the best sounding. Diezels definitely dig low output pickups.
