I´ve already play the 3rd Channel of my Diezel VH4. I´m looking forward to combinate the Diezel along with the Mesa Mark IIC+ Sound. What is the cheapest way to get the IIC+ Sound? Triaxis is too expensive!! Also the Clean Sound of the Roland JC120 is my favourite. Maybe a Pod? Which is the cheapest way to get this two Sounds along with the Diezel?
Thanks

Buy a Mark IIC+ or buy a Mark V and use the C+ setting. Same thing with the JC120.

the pod would do the roland clean sounds convincingly.

You got to have a IIC+ to get IIC+ tones or a Mark III black or red stripe will get you close. I have both, and a Mark V. The Mark V is so far away from a IIC+ that it is not worth it if that is your goal. As far as cheap, no IIC+ is cheap. I gave $2000 for mine and had to get a head shell built to get it out of the combo. $2000 was cheaper than most though. But, it romps. But, you can grab a Mark III on ebay for a fair price. The Mark III to me is one of the best amps around. Its a work horse. And, you will sound just like Het....or close enough.

my Vh4's ch1 is pretty close to Het's clean tone,i do really love it
BTW what guitar do you play to get those tones?

I have a ESP Black Truckster. I think the first Channel of the Diezel sounds not smooth enough compared to a Roland JC120.
I think about a Mesa Studio Preamp for the IIC+ Sound...

I had a studio and it has great tones in it but I didn't get Hetfield out of it.

Yes sir, a MK III Red Stripe.

Nothing is a real substitute for the real IIC+. NOTHING !!!!

Buy a mark III off of ebay with simul class,eq,reverb. Send it to boogie and have mark B do somthign call an r2 mod and a mark c+ mod he calls it mark IIIC+ ish. It gets very close i love it. I agree with steve the mark III is a def work horse and with the c+ thing that mark b does you get that ripping sound of both it rocks.

I think you mean Mike Bendinelli. There is an R2 Volume pot mod and a IIIC+ mod.

Remember Metallica's Mesa's all had simulclass so you can get close with a Strategy 400 on the cheap. In fact Metallica still uses those.

Im sorry i was alittle wacked out had a few vodka shots with some friends. Yes mr B over at mesa. Anyway it rocks.
