I find with the amps that offer me "my" tone, I use less and less FX up front as years pass. Lil' DD, 'verb, and a clean boost?? Pretty well it right there. Wah if I'm doing any AIC.

The best tones I got out of the VH4 I used to own were with a boost up front, imo.
