dont think i'm crazy to post it in the diezel corner.

but i heard a lot and watch some good videos of the h&k's tubemeister. this thing rocks...pretty cool for some practice @ home. especially for semi-pros...nais sounding, versatile options. i love my diezel, but i cant turn it on a bit at home, without having the police knocking at my door

would be damn interresting to have such a thing from peter with the typical diezel sound. yeah i know hes not the type to copy amps....but i guess he's able to take this idea and create sth more ass kickin! would be

Already done--Diezel Schmidt

Poweramp: 15-30 Watt Class A self biasing

Hi Stoni!

Glassjaw is right! I play my Schmidt at home with a 2x12 hempcone.
Therefore I turn up the volume of each channel slowly till the amp begins to work. O k its not so easy to findout the point
on which the amp is working and its a a small range between nothing and homevolume but it works and
the amp sounds good!
You see the Schmidt works well on every volume..... higher volume is of course better but it works well.

My other option to play at home is to use my H&K Tubeman II direct into a guitarbox also very good and the amplifier
of the Tubeman has enough volume for home.

I use it also for my backup when playing life plughing into the PA.

Thats a good plan B when your main amp will not work.

The guys of my band not hear the difference between a real amp and the tubeman but I of course do hear but

its ok for plan B or when you play in a festival and you have not much time to place your equipment.

Have a nice day

)ah so i missunderstood the sence of the schmidt. thought it's a jazz/blues version doing good in cleans. but i'm needing some hardrock till metal sounds as well.

i really like the h&k thing to record without having the top on a box. also liked the size and the weight. perfect for me. its even impossible for me and my eini, which is smaler and not that heavy as many other amps, to get it to our bandroom (which is on a lets call it "little mountain") and home again every week. and its a real good sounding amp (unfortunatly not diezel sounding, but good). i practised at home on a marshall mg 250. havent heard a crapier (is that word right ) amp like this.... it sounds shitty when working quietly and even more fucked up when loud. so this means a common alternative for me...

having a thing like that with einis crunch mode and the overall diezel sound....would be the first buying it!

I have brought Tubemeister 18 head a week ago and this small thing rocks

Ofc it's not replacement for Diezels, but for small part of the money You get the very nice, versatile head for home usage. I like it. A lot. More than a Gigmaster 15 I head and returned to shop.

yeah thats totally what i mean...tubemeisters the better engl version... but a diezel one would rock more
