25 years ago I was playing either a Marshall halfstack or stereo Peavey 5150/5150 ii set up. If you told me then that I would be playing this set up years later I would have not believed you.

I have never been happier with any rig I have owned. That includes owning Bogner, Fryette, Soldano and almost everything in between.

I was LITERALLY just looking at piecing together this exact same rig. How is the amp modeling?

I guess less is more...…..if it works for you and makes you happy that is all that matters! I bet your back is thanking you? lol

I love it. I’ve been using Line 6 stuff since their very first amp. This is heads above that. I love the cleans… so nice and punchy when needed, but can be dialed in to pretty much give you whatever you need.

I love being able to go from a Fender Deluxe to Revv G3 with the press of a footswitch… or Soldano or 5150. It’s all there !

Ha, I thought you were talking about the back-to-roots amps until I clicked on the image. Modeling is pretty damn good these days.

Well I guess your head would explode if you used the Axe FX III :D

Speaking of which, can't wait to download and try the new Axe-FxIII v10 firmware

That scares the shit out of me

I've thought countless times, and still do, about grabbing an AxeFx but I'm just afraid I'll get infinity lost in tweaking and never play.

I really love the HX Stomp. I thought I would be just ok with it but now I tend to use it more than anything else so Im downsizing my gear so I can take care of some responsibilities. Im down one amp, one preamp pedal, and one guitar so far this week. My wife is nagging me a little bit less as a result. Thankfully I have several different presets that has been itching my need for mulitple amps.

I had the ultra for a while. I didn’t find it nearly as intuitive or user-friendly. I got stuck in options hell

Grab an Ultra to play around with. The MIDI software is okay, and the DSP limitations will stop you building huge silly patches
