Just curious who has experience with this pickup & what your experience was like using it? Any help would be great.

I had the Jackson MM Dominion guitar for a little bit, the pickups were solid - clear and punchy, good snarl too.

I put a dominion in my strat bridge position about a year ago. Still in there
I suck at describing tonal difference but comparing it to a JB I'd say its a bit brighter all around but not in a bad way

I've had a set in a MIJ Jackson Dominion, 2006 LP studio, Carvin 300st, and a couple other superstrats. I'll be honest and say I don't love the bridge. It's tight, fairly articulate, but kind of bland/neutral IMO. Very unforgiving too and low output I felt...REALLY had to gig in. I'm not much of a lead player, but the neck is pretty sweet for that stuff.

Had one. It was cool for what it was, but never bonded with it.

I think the comparison to a JB is fair. Similar in many ways. Mid-focused too. Around the same output level, even. It's by no means a clone, but it's easy to compare it to one.

It's more modern than a JB, however. It's tighter, but also thinner. It's also more attack-y and slightly more aggressive. More Ceramic-y, if you will.
Seemed to me like the mids were shifted slightly. It wasn't as bitey, but rather, kinda more raspy and rude. Also seemed slightly more nasal, but noticeably less stuffy in the low mids.

I think the DiMarzio site describes it as "thick". It certainly wasn't to me at all. More of a modern, tight, focused pickup. Hot, but not nearly as much as some other ceramics. Mid-high output, I'd say.

I have one in my LP Special in the bridge and I love it. It is clear even with lower tunings like drop B.

My favorite pickup, been using one for maybe 6 years. I've only tried it in one guitar, but IMO it sounds like a juicier/thicker super distortion with less snark.

For me, it was too mid heavy and felt somewhat stiff. I don't like pick ups with too much mids. That goes for the Dominion, Duncan Distortion and the BKP Holy Diver that I tried. I like my mids a bit flatter or neutral with a pick up.
