Hi guys I got a question bout an hs-2 I bought..
One of them has the normal wires plus a bare extra ground wire,,one doesnt...
Is this a problem or maybe an older hs-2 :cry:
green red and two black wires that are tied together and taped???
so leaves me a hot and a green ground..
but the other one has a bare wire to>>

can you phrase this more simply?

HS2 = two coils.

each coil has a "start" and "end".

= four wires + a bare ground wire.

On older HS-2s the two wires that are NOT red and green are usually both black, cut VERY short, and taped together. You can remove this tape, and use the two black wires as the coil tap ala Eric Johnson, but you need to add wire. :rock: :rock:

Thought it was pretty explanatory.. :lol: :LOL:
Got an hs-2 no ground<bare> wire is that normal for the older ones??
Green is obviously the ground red hot and 2 blacks are together..

Actually, if you're using it with other normal pups, the red is ground on stacked dmz pups.
