Dimes Warhead amp reborn for 2023

Zakk has his own wylde audio amps, seems that would be the logical way to go?

I have heard people mention that Randall should get back into making solid state heads like the old models. I have to wonder:
1. What would they cost? The current price of Randall amps even made offshore are high in the market.
2. Is the market there? With so many low cost digital choices out there, will players be open to paying x amount for an SS amp, even if it is higher quality?

I am not trying to be a naysayer, I just wonder what the viability is.

They are about dead , sadly

Dime fans must have some serious disposable income to constantly be buying into the nostalgia.
I would honestly say that Dime collectors are one of the most dedicated and educated collectors right now. The real rare stuff doesn't last (if it ever hits at all) and is an instant re-sell (or never sold at all)

They raised their prices so high last year, almost seemed like a desperate cash out. I have an RD1 and love it...but not for $700 or whatever crazy amount they went up to.
This inflation has got to change .almost everything I buy at the grocery store has doubled in price . The last 3 years are rough

Well, we live in the Midwest, I guess we better start learning to steal feed corn and make tortillas. I'll bring the fish. Sad part is the fish tacos would end up better than anywhere else we'd pay $15 for.

Shit has got to change that for sure . I didn’t work for 3 months to help my sick father and now it’s caught up with me . So a $3200 new Randall sounds crazy . The Satan 120 is only Randall I liked and I just sold it

I hope your father is improving, or doing the best possible. And yes, when those price increases hit, it was drastic. I do like this RD1 like I said before...I would actually like a 100w model based on the same simplistic EQ setup but with a resonance control

Thanks man ! That amp was a Fortín design right ?

I would highly recommend avoiding the RD 100H. Garbage. The 45 is a far better amp. I couldn't return the 100 fast enough. Don't know why, the 45 is the same circuit but maybe the transformers were just not very good?
But that amp was by far, the worst sounding amp since I caught the gear bug back in 08.

Is there 2 45 versions?

Dimebag fans buy up his merch, guitars and gear still and they think it can probably sell.
Dude that is just not true. I'd hold my Dimebag Shop-Vac, "New Level Snow Cone Machine, and Pantera-autographed "Cemetary Gates" ironing board up against any product out there but we don't just buy anything........
