Well I run mine with everything at about 1 o'clock and hit the front end with a Greer Lightspeed OD, through a Friedman 4X12 with British Made celestion 25W Greenbacks. Sounds Awesome !!! Sorry I asked.....
It's a subjective question. It's one of the best single channel swiss army knife amps (my personal favorite). You can EQ it up for clean country jazzer stuff but if you crank up the gain shift the EQ and add say a buxom boost it creeps into HBE territory. Plays well with nearly any speaker/cab combo that fits the style you're dial it in for. Very few amps can do this.
