Im looking to use a switcher to make fx changes much simpler and am also hoping to use the same switcher to change channels on an amp. Im currently looking at buying a friedman BE100 and just wondered will the dcp-5 be able to switch channels from clean to BE to HBE or will i only be able to make one switch for example clean to BE or Just BE to HBE. And if it is possible to make a switch between all 3 channels what cable will i need ?

Thanks,

I'm curious about this as well. I think it would work, because the dpc-5's channel switching jack is a TRS, but I'm not sure. I wish their dcp-8ez had a channel switcher jack, because it will work with pedals in front of the amp and in the loop, but I don't think the dcp-5 does.

If it has a trs jack it should work. Use a trs cable of course.

Just use your supplied Friedman cable, works with mine.

I have a DPC-5 and yes it does change all the Clean, BE, and HBE channels. You have to read the manual to figure how how you want to configure the DPC-5 and what loops you want each ch to be on, or just hold the upper tall footswitch down for couple seconds to get into manual mode.

I'm actually moving to a more easy midi looper board for my pedals. Also the footswitches are SO close together unless you have a shoe the size of my 3yo boy. But DA makes quality switchers, just lots of programming without any numbers or writing on the unit itself is whats frustrated me.
