Hope everyone is safe and healthy.

Do Power Condtioners need replacement after years of usage or perhaps sitting in storage for a while?

I understand capacitors get old. some dry up and do not filter or charge up as well as they should. Currently I have a Furman AR-1215 that I bought with very little use back in 2006, should I be looking at maybe investing into a new one or should I just look at maybe getting it re-capped by a professional electrician?

Thanks

I don't think it's quite old enough to warrant replacement. Have you tested it? If it makes you feel better you can open it up and see if there are any caps bulging.

The Unit works, I am just not sure if it continues to operate at an optimal level as it should or not.

I'll crack it open later and check caps.
