I want one, but am scared that they have skinny necks like other Hamers. I'd rather have something between '60 and '59 profile.

Anyone can enlighten me?

Vintage carve: .900" - .960"

That is their "50s" profile and it is NOT skinny, good C shaped neck.

Ah thanks, great info, great forum, great guys!!!

Is the Explorer type (Standard) the same?

The Standard I had, seamed to have a bigger neck than my Vector. At least that's how I remember it. It's pretty much why I sold it. It was just a bit too big (bigger hips). But my friend has one and is more like a 60's neck. His is the first run of them from '95. He had a first run Vector too, but the neck on that was bigger than my Vector ('02). So I think there are some inconsistancies because they are built by hand. Depends on who built it I think.

Well, my Vector pretty much ruined me for my Historic 60' Les Paul neck...the Vector seems to be between a Gibson 30/60 and a 59' carve.

The Vector is pretty much the most bad ass guitar I own. Result was that the R0 got sold...

That big neck sounds like the 50s carve, I have that on my 03 monaco and it has some back to it but damn I believe that adds to the tone and sustain  Special order you can pick either the 50s or 60s carve.

I am thinking whoever ordered those vectors just choose different carves.
