Do you stack amp heads?

I get head covers and stack 'em up like prisoners at Abu Ghraib prison. Every once in a while I'll pull one out of the pile just to abuse the fuck outta it, then toss it back into storage. I make them stand on the end with the transformer on the bottom just for further humiliation.

I use cut up squares from old DVD cases. They are rigid but thin which I prefer because putting any thick or soft material under the feet makes the amp more unstable IMO. These stay in place and prevent any oil stains or indentations caused by the rubber feet.

The Electradyne is a British targeted amp as well, and, yup, not a big financial success either.

I owned the Electradyne and the Royal Atlantic, and they are really good amps, but, the Badlander absolutely is a much better sounding amp imho.
I knew I was forgetting one when I posted that. I never messed with the Electradyne. I still really want a Royal Atlantic.

I love me electrodyne . Super unique . The Soundgarden king animal album is a great advert for what is it truly sounds like

It actually is an awesome amp.

I had a 1x12 combo and it weighed about a ton. Also the master volume went from whisper quiet to rip your head off loud in a hair width of travel.

It is by far the most massive sounding and loudest 1 x12 amp I ever owned.

Perhaps I should revisit it.

I use a rack I got off Amazon that is sturdy and works pretty well, but I’ll still stack one head on another, but I don’t go over that. Just a mental thing where I’m worried it might fall with a little accidental bump.

I can't remember if it is Psychodave or another long time member on the forums, but someone stacks all of their amp heads on those shelving units and looks amazing. Of course whoever it is im thinking of have amps a plenty.

I stop at 2 heads on top of a cab and ended up building an amp shelving unit for the others. Was fun building my own shelving unit. If interested, you can find the parts (outside of the shelving itself) over at: https://pipe-decor.com/
