Do your fingers get blackened when playing?

All of my guitars have nickel frets and my fingers always seem to get blackened when playing for a while? Does this happen to anyone else?

This was after two hours of playing.

My guess: Dyed fingerboard, Dirty Frets, or a Nickel Allergy.

Only thing that does this for me is jazz iii black picks when they wear down they generate a bit of dust.

Not normally. I use pure nickle SIT strings. Some guitars have nickle frets and other SS. Years ago I tried copper picks, tyey turned my fingers green. I always wash my hands before playing.
