Does a guitar with these specs exist?

The caramelized maple necks are sweet. I liked that DK more than the SoCal I now have. I'd rather have the DK with a recessed Floyd and Full Shreds.

Shit I’ll just find a store in town that has em all and try to play them and see how they feel

You could grab a Kramer Nightswan and put in a trem stop. It’s top mounted floating

Edit - I see that was recommended. The OG ones are crazy expensive now. You could MAYBE get a JDM one for semi cheap, but the new ones are good and cheap

Yea that’s definitely one of the top options at this point!

JTalkin to a buddy last night...and wondering if someone makes a guitar with these specs:

1. Trem with DTuna
2. 24 Frets
3. Priced around $1k

I couldn't think of one so thought i'd ask here...just in case
Search the used market and make your own. I got this RG270 MiK in a trade

1. Gotoh with d-tuna
2. 24 frets
3. Less than 1k with all the new parts, it had already a Dimarzio Evolution in the bridge when i got it so i added an Evolution in the neck too

My cat Paul (RIP) bombed the photo

Gorgeous dude, thanks for sharing the details

I actually did look for parts last night but things are so expensive, it got over $1k pretty quick

Might just have to opportunistically look I guess

And sorry about your cat, losing pets is the worst

I hear ya, adding the parts goes pretty fast. I have an Ibanez Petrucci that I am going to bring to my tech tonite and I will be close to 2k$ Canadian once I will have paid for his service for finishing it. All good parts and a custom made neck and body with the Picasso painting on it.

If you really want what you described, the used market remains your best option and adding a d-tuna on a Floyd or Gotoh is really easy. Remember that you need to make the bridge dive only if you want to use the d-tuna. And you may need to have a slot done, as on my picture, if the tremolo is recessed into the body.
