I believe I read an interview with EVH that he said if he was doing the old albums again he'd use his new amps, not the old ones. I love his tone on the first 4 albums but call me crazy but I think his rhythm playing is better than his leads. For leads I always liked Lynch, Schenker, Randy more than Eddie.

Wow, that's a blast from my past, I went to school at NMSU (lived in Las Cruces for about 5 years). Haven't been back in forever.

No shit! I'm wrapping up my bachelors in May here at NMSU Can't wait to be done! I'll be shoving off and leaving Cruces shortly thereafter.

I was just talking to Ed yesterday and, ironically, he happened to mention that he can barely even sleep these days worrying about what Rig Talkers have been saying about his playing and toanz.

Worrying about his internet forum street cred and being, like, literally, a living God among mortals is taking up all his time these days. I almost pity the dude.
