Nope.

Seems that some plexis are as wide as a 412 (around 30 inches) while some are a few inches narrower.
I think it's usually 50 watt plexis that I see in the narrower headshell, like these ones.

EDIT: Just searched some more and found that they're commonly referred to as "small box" plexi head shells. Around 26" wide instead of the usual 30". I like the look of the smaller ones better.

As a side note, been ampless for awhile so I've been using a friend's plexi and slant 412 lately and holy shitballs!!! It rocks!
