Does Yahoo mail suck balls?? What should I do?

I've had yahoo for years and lately it has been doing some crazy stuff (log in problems, spam galore,etc). I'm thinking of switching to something else but have no clue of who to choose :confused:

any advice?
 
I can't stand yahoo or hotmail...I've used gmail for years with no problems.
 
My yahoo's been fine. Been using it for 13 years now. The only thing that's weird (and it only happens at work) is if the page hasn't loaded up it's backgroud ad pic, I can enter my login and pass all I want but it won't take and I'll have to do it a second time.
 
I've been getting a ton of spam too, but everything works fine.
 
I don't care for the way Gmail sorts mail, but I gave up on Yahoo's page long ago.

I now have my Yahoo go to Thunderbird...

Yahoo mail has been giving me and many of my friends problems lately. Ive noticed that every since they added that add window in the right hand corner it has slowed the mail down 10 fold and now I'm having a tough time even getting into yahoo mail. I'm pretty sure that they are screwing around with it but I must admit if they don't fix it soon, Im done using it and Ive been using it for years now. :doh:
 
I'm pissed with Yahoo mail as well, but I can't just easily up and move everything over to a different email account can I? Everyone knows my current email and I feel like that would be too much work to have to register everything under a new account. Has anybody else done this successfully?



Now I'll rant about yahoomail:

I can be waiting for an important email from someone, and I'll keep pressing the "check mail" button for hours on end without getting a single email. The symbol spins like it is doing something, and then stops and reports "no new mail". Hours later without ever receiving an email and getting suspicious, I refresh the page and I have 17 new emails from all throughout the day. That's beta version shit, I shouldn't have to deal with that.

I'll go to open an email and it'll bring up a white page and say "done"... umm... NO UR NOT FUCKING DONE BECAUSE I ASKED YOU TO OPEN THE EMAIL AND THE EMAIL ISN'T OPEN! So don't give me no lip, asshole!" And yes, I call yahoomail an asshole when it's being bad. Just in case you thought I was frontin' I ain't. This problem is also unfixed until you refresh the page.

And yes, recently I have been getting spam emails as well. This morning I got one of those UPS emails that says my package has been "ship" and will arrive in three business "day". It says my tracking info is attached to the email, but the email gives no information on the transaction or item being shipped. This in addition to all of the penis enlargement ads. Just means someone is giving out my email to someone who shouldn't have it. Not necessarily Yahoo, but you know...
 
Yahoo mail has been working fine for me recently. I use the yahoo mail classic view.
 
No problems for me and I have used it for over 10 years. Sometimes with Outlook, others on it's own, and even to my Droid.
 
+1 for gmail, works flawlessly for me, quick and responsive to boot

They are always pushing their new wiz bang shit.They don't understand I just want to see a headline or two and my mail. That's it.
 
I haven't ever had problems with Yahoo, but started forwarding it to my gmail account a year ago. I like yahoo for my disposable spam email accounts that I use for selling things on craigslist/etc.
