When I was a kid, dad only had a shotgun, which i rarely got to shoot. When I went into basic I had a helluva time qualifying, I think they actually jacked my score so I could pass. You could sure tell the dudes who grew up with guns and hunting, they were the aces.

There was a time long ago when I did too.
That time has passed. I genuinely just don’t give a shit anymore. The one good thing about the last election is now those idiots have to deal with the fact that they are the minority now, and every time they speak out loud and support utterly stupid shit the normal people with any brains at all decide they are done with the democrats.
They have forced themselves into a corner where all they have left is to oppose anything that the republicans do, so they are left with the most anti American positions we’ve ever seen.

I knew a guy who lost everything working on the Taj Mahal, he eventually committed suicide over it.
His family owned a railing business. Trump himself called the guy and blew smoke up his ass. The guy moved his operation 100 miles south to work on the initial construction. On several occasions Donald told him he was doing great work, but payments never came. There was always an excuse, the bank, the AP person, after eight months the guy had exhausted all his credit and had to walk off the job.
It was then that they started claiming it was inferior workmanship, the guy sued, received 30%. His wife left him, took his children out of state, he blew his brains out.
Many contractors had similar financial stories.
If this is the type of person you idolize, you may want to reconsider. It was not a normal bankruptcy issue, this all occurred years before that. If the workmanship was poor, why not point that out in the first week? You have project and construction managers to oversee these issues. It was planned, to get in at half the going cost, “fuck the subs”. The end result, even with 40% “savings” on the construction, Trump still went bankrupt within two years, meanwhile others operated fine next door for decades.

You see folks, this statment right here is what is wrong with the left. Just because people vote for a person, based on what they saw in the candidates last term in office, and the absolute dumpster fire the next administration that "legitimately" won the election (cough, cough) left the country in, they whine on about how we "idolize" that candidate. Maybe it's simply that those people that voted for Trump possess critical thought, are able to separate emotion from voting and use common sense that the policies are what's needed for this country right now.
Or, maybe it's just that the group criticizing those voters, are a godless, soulless group, that have no idols of their own, and can't admit they were duped into voting for indisputably the most corrupt, dishonest and ineffective administration in modern history.

The system worked then because the space from top to the bottom was much smaller than it is now. We are mimicking the 1920s right now, you know how that turned out. It requires a world war to level the playing field.

I’ve taken many economics classes, and was a finance graduate from well known university. Beyond that, I’ve owned numerous businesses and was also a corporate CFO. Somehow, as stupid as I appear to be, I retired wealthy at age 54. Go on about your bigly brain and superior intellect, it’s amusing.
