Gary was in and out of Thin Lizzy; I'm pretty sure this was during a stint where Gary was a member or fill-in, and a Thin Lizzy gig given the lineup, and they chose to perform one of Gary's solo songs and why Gary, not Phil, introduced it in the video.

Cozy had filled in for Brian Downey a few times, just as Gary filled in frequently, though Gary toured and recorded with Thin Lizzy as a member, not just filling in over several years.
