You afraid the zoombie woof is gonna drag you out the window and do it to you up on the roof?

Sweet man! Been a while since I last busted out my Frank collection. Im on it

My Python boots was too tight, I couldn't get em off last night. A week went by, I finally got em off and my girlfried cried- Stinfoot, Stinkfoot Darlin.
Why does it hurt when I pee?

He's my fave - period. Been listening to him for 25 years and still to this day, LOVE his goods...

ZPZ is doing a good job keeping the Frank Vibe alive... But as I'd mentioned a while ago, since Dweezil's been using his dual Axe FX Ultra's, his tone's gone to shit. I'm serious - not trying to start a flame war here, it was just crappy sounding...

Hopefully he'll get back on to using those vintage beasts from his dad's past... Thaat was mega!!

He needs to go back to his Cornford MK50.

When I saw him about 3 years ago in this awesome venue in Vancouver (Orpheum), he was running his Cornford, a Fuchs, a Bogner Duende (I believe) and a custom job... Not to mention, a plethora of his dad's cabs were lining the front of the stage and that was the biz... It was an awesome show, and the sound was top notch. This last show, the only guitar that "cut through" and sounded as though it had overtones and some flesh to it was his rhythm guitarist, who was actually miking two combos - a 2 Rock and a Bogner. Sounded terrific - Dweezil, OTOH, had two rack mounted Ultra FX units behind him - and his foot controller in the front. We were close enough to see that his FC was definitely running everything through his Axe's. And I guess from there, through the PA's.

Peace,
V.

Pure Genius
FZ was and always will be the man.
Just listen to the complexity of what is going on during the song.
No bands of today can even fathom writing stuff that involved.
And every musician is balls on.

Yep. A perfectionist. And you're so right about the complexity of his music - in most of today's talent pools, it'd be hard to get it together at the level he did. He did not suffer slop whatsoever, and was quick to fire anyone who couldn't keep up. I laugh at the fact he intentionally slapped ridiculous lyrics ontop of some of today's most difficult and 'statistically dense' music ever written. That was his schtick though - look at this!! Ha ha, we can do this AND not take ourselves too seriously.

Guy was genius, and continues to inspire me to "play the notes in between the ones we think we're supposed to hear".

Peace,
V.

I loved that album so much and the song below that I broke down a couple of years ago and took a few of lessons just to learn the first minute or so of this   Frank's the shit
