I've become hooked on DR videos, damn guys stuff is so melodic. Dude is funny as hell in this clip though! :lol: :LOL:
And that green Charvel....eff it and just take my money dude.

 
Man I wish I could play slide worth a damn. He incorporates it into his playing so well.
 
That green Charvel Pro Mod was cool. So, funny as hell? Uhm, where? :confused:
 
Doug is an awesome player, i feel like these vids are over processed though and don't give a good idea of what the amp sounds like in the room. Friedman produced demos never seem to have just straight amp/cab mic. Always some post eq or delay. This is coming from someone that owns and loves 2 friedman amps. Plus Doug will make any amp sound good haha

following on from the 'processed' comment, Friedmans all sound a bit processed for my tastes - not enough balls
The Phil X up against the Helios was an unfair fight (look for Doug live with Edgar Winter on his Helios)
I'm hopeful the new BE100 goes some way to addressing that

True to some degree but the production Friedmans that I've played PT20 and SS100 sound pretty damn close to this. They have a very polished and refined tone. Doug rules!
