From the vids, it seems to me like channel 3 is brighter but channel 2 appears to have much more gain on tap.

From the vids, it seems to me like channel 3 is brighter but channel 2 appears to have much more gain on tap.

Channel 2 is fatter sounding but Channel 3 has more gain on tap. It's just the way it was dialed in for the video. You can get a ton more gain on Channel 3. We wanted to leave the settings the same and show what it sounds like with different guitars.

For example, here is Channel 3, same settings as the video with the PWE guitar but using a Thorn Deluxe.

Guitar>Amp>Marshall 1960 BV Cab/V30's> 1 mic per speaker-SM57-SM7B-Heil PR30-Sennheiser 409>API 500 series pres>Protools

We then mixed them and added Delay and Reverb in Logic here at the shop and made the videos.
