i've played a gig without my pedal board recently. it was ok but i missed my wireless the most.

i play without pedals for the majority of our set, i just like to use them in specific spots to get really crazy but im not tap dancing throughout every song.

Agree. All I really want is a delay pedal.

90% of my gigs are straight into an amp. I hit a delay for some leads and clean stuff. I ride the volume knob the entire gig.

I'm surprised at the simplistic rigs mentioned....The best approach as it turns out is minimal gear in most cases....I'm assuming everyone would want a dream rig that is somewhat portable...

Would you guys be dying without pedal boards? Just curious...

Mine would be my Soldano Avenger 100 watt into my Marshall 1960BHW Cab & my LP Standard loaded with EMG's.

Love your Fig LP.

Thanks....Soldano Avenger eh? You know your tone...!!!

If I couldn't have a pedalboard I would seriously consider the AX8 (or if that counts as a "board" Axe II).

If that breaks the rules:
-Mesa Mark V:35 Combo
-My LP Replica

I'm very happy with my humble 2204 half stack. But if I could dream I'd probably just want a healthy late 60s/early 70s 1959 stack and the space/ear plugs to let it rip. I like lots of modern amps, but to me they still can't top a raging Marshall.

Yeah....My described tone would be a JCM 800 Type of sound with More gain, Lows & Low Mids. Lots of clarity & with the EMG's I don't need a Boost.

KSR Colossus 100-H with Wood Mod

Neal Moser STi-T with Dimarzio Super 3 bridge/Super 2 neck.

Bogner XTC 100B
Tom Anderson Drop Top, SA1 SA1r H2+ pickups.

My own....Suhr Modern, VH4 & Wizard Cab.

This... is difficult to dispute. Even though I sold my VH4 in favor of my KSR Colossus 100-H no denying it's one of the greatest amps out there.

Cameron Modded Marshall - Les Paul with Suhr Aldrich Pickup in the bridge

Friedman BE100 - Les Paul with Suhr Aldrich as well.

The Outboard gear can be turned off.

This is what is commonly known as the "Trump Card."

It was literally my "Dream rig", which had been a focus for MANY MANY years, before I could actually afford it in it's current configuration

My Tom Anderson Hollow Drop Top into my VHT Ultra-Lead into one or 2 Mesa 3/4 Back 2x12's. Could also substitute my 101B or even my 5150 III 50 watt. Doesn't really matter, either of the 3 and I'm happy.

Already have mine:

My purple ibby, into BE100, into vintage marshall style 4x12 with scumback M75s

BE-100 is hard to beat!

Deliverance 120 & Les Paul

Effects board.... Never owned one. I rarely use more than wa & phase. I usually do not bring them and plug directly into the amp. I have a rack and five boxes full of pedals I don't use.
