With all the Dream Theater posts lately I decided to pull out some old albums.
Was listening to "Glass Prison" on 6DOIT and at about 11-12 minutes into the song,
Petrucci is chugging on the low strings and there is a subtle phasery type sound
"opening and closing" as he his riffing out. I can't tell if that's the keys doing that
or if it is a guitar effect.
It sounds cool and I'd like to know how to get that effect if anyone here knows. I would put
up a youtube clip but it's so subtle it doesn't seem to transfer well to computer speakers. Thanks.
