Always loved this song! Back For The Attack was a great album! I was right in the middle of my George Lynch worshipping days when this came out in '87.

Agreed, and I am hoping that his new project (T+N), with Mick and Jeff will be the best parts of Dokken, without the worst part of Dokken.

+1.

Me too! This is an example of Scott Hembry's Skull & Bones

Lynch =  awesome player, phrasing, technique, etc...etc..

Don = singer ; sounds like a faggot with a cold

That's right , I said it.

So wimpy and nasally. Lynch,Pilson, and Brown wanted to rock ! I think they were held back in many ways by the "Don".

Love Lynch
Rock to Dokken
Can't stand Don

Dokken was my all time Fave 80's band....cause of Lynch of course!! :D
I really liked the Lynch Pilson album as well.
They have good chemistry.
But to me the best tone was the Back for the Attack CD for sure!!

Who is this George Lynch you speak of?
He's that guy...you know...the one with the gloves!?!?

Can't argue with that! The song is great, the tone is great, the guitaring (is that even a word?!) is great!

Gloves or no gloves, the man is one of the best in my book. Lynch that is.

That, and Cry of the Gypsy are my favorite tunes on that album. Some of the tone can be a little thin, like on "Turn Up The Action", but on Dream Warriors and Gypsy, killer tone and phrasing!

I was sooooo jealous of Lynch's hair back in the 80's.... Oh yeah, the guy could play pretty decently as well.

BFTA is one bad ass album. I used to play it over and over. Cry of the Gyspy is also one of my favs!!! George destroyed it on BFTA.   Plus George was my fav guitarist in the 80s and Dokken was one of my fav bands of the 80s. It was EVH and Randy for me as far as guitarist, but a couple of years after Randy died, it was George all the way!!!

Ok stuff. Sounds really dated and the vocals are  .

Still fun though. George was great.

Ever hear the 'cricket chirps' on Sleepless Nights? His guitar was creating these chirpy sounds as a byproduct of the way he was playing the rhythm part. Freaked me out the first time I heard it.

Loved BTFA back in the day... always liked Heaven Sent the best- cool solo.
