Drop A# with Kentucky Fried Fortin

Well since I don't have a 7 string and there have been some cool ass drop tuned clips lately, I thought I'd tune my gitfiddle down and see what it sounds like(strings are old and kinda dead ). I normally tune to Drop C. Last week I had fun recording some riffs in Drop D. This was fun too.

Thanks. Shit, maybe I'll redo it sometime with new strings. Oh, and the bass track is actually just the guitar played through a bass amp sim in Garageband. Gotta get me a bass guitar. The guitar in action is my super duper First Act Overtone($49 ). Funny thing also is that I didn't even touch the settings on the amp. They are the same ones I recorded the Splawn speaker clips with in Drop D. For those clips I used my Squier Cyclone.

I typically hate dropped tunings...rarely are they used effectively IMO. Because of that, I'm surprised that I even opened this thread let alone listened to the track. Glad I did...I really dug what you have going on there.
