Dual Channel BMAN vs. 59 Bassman - Overdrive spectrum

When compared to the overdrive/breakup spectrum of a tweed Fender,
would you describe the BMAN module as having:

A) an A channel that covers the entire overdrive spectrum of a Bassman,
and a B channel that sounds like a boosted bassman

or

B) an A channel that covers approx half of the overdrive spectrum and a B
channel that covers the other half - allowing for two switchable spots on
the spectrum.

In short, can you get the full grunt of a 59 bassman on channel A?

I haven't experienced the BMAN module personally. The description on
Egnater.com/modules.html makes me think it's probably scenario A rather
than B. But, your experiences and opinions are definitely appreciated.

It's not a true Bassman, but for a reference tone,
check out this clip:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bk4zeB3IrI
*really key in on the switch to the neck pickup at about 27 seconds in.

The description says it's a bassman clone running EL34s,
which could otherwise be described as a JTM45 :)
But the beauty of the Egnater stuff is I can run my module
with any dang tubes I please right!?

Anyway, I'm not a Tweed aficionado by any means.
But, for the purposes of this post, if the BMAN can get
close to the sounds in this clip on channel A, that's really sweet.

Or Channel B for that matter, I'm just wondering how guys are using it.

thanks
Nick
