Ha, I was just thinking that after checking out some other live vids. I was thinking "Damn, he sounds awesome on these tracks." Myles is one of the best vocalists in rock right now IMO.

You would have thought that security would be tighter now days. This is messed up.

Ya this is my thinking - I mean, that weirdo came out of rear exit stage left... Behind the scenes. Not some stage hopper that just crawled up - and he didn't look tiny either. Hats off to Slash but still man, something like that would rattle ya.

So it goes.

That is some crazy shit. You know Axel would've jumped off the stage and went after that dude. :gethim: Props to Slash for trying to finish the solo without a B string. It would have been hard enough to have broken a string in that spot of the solo and keep going much less getting tackled and having the B string tuning peg busted off and trying to keep going. Show must go on.

and if it were a chick, prolly woulda kicked her in the face.
he should have taken Nancy Ragen's advice and just said no.

Axel would have gotten his panties all in a bunch, stopped the show, and whined for 15 minutes before walking off stage
Slash handled it like a pro would ;)

Dude, I am a total nobody and if I play a crappy little biker show I have a glock in my rack drawer. There are lots of good dudes out there but also some not so cool individuals especially when you play Southern Rock at Biker Fests!

Man, you`re built like a mountain :D
If that guy had tried doing that with you, he`d just stopped when he hit ya, Wylie E. Coyote style.

ACME guitar players. Stops you dead in your tracks.

That is pretty intense. The guy that tackled the nut case looks like he might have ended up underneath when they hit the floor and I'm sure that was a helluva landing when those two big guys hit the ground.

That security dude that got his arms around him went down *hard*. Dude takes his job seriously because it looked like he fell back-down over that drop off.

Hopefully they twisted again before hitting the floor and the pinhead ended up on bottom.

Great reflexes by Slash too considering he got hit by surprise.

I hope security beat the living shit out of that moron. Some people think it's all about them.

... without trying to learn an instrument. :)

    He did play it pretty cool I'd be curled up in the fetal position after that. Or I'd beat that asshole with what was left of my guitar. :gethim:

If you go down that route, every crazy asshole will always try to tackle you, or worse, bring a weapen. No matter how good it would feel to beat the shit out of that guy, best to just let security handle it, and give them a golden handshake afterwards. I guess when you're famous (or royal), people always try to provoke you to get some nasty footage or stories to sell to the "quality press". Enter expendable but well paid security personnel...

The guy that took him down wasn't security, he was part of the crew. According to what was on Blabbermouth today the crew guy got banged up pretty good. The clown that did it was let go.
Jerry

Kudos for Slash's crew for being on point and swiftly removing that asshole..

Just a few years ago some drunk 40 something tackled Noel Gallagher and injured his ribs etc.

Now I realize Noel shoots his mouth of every now and again but no entertainer deserves crap like that....

too bad Axl wasn't on stage with Slash..that guy would have been wearing a mic stand across his face...

myles sounds like shit compared to Axl , he has zero raunch or attitude
