^This. I couldn't believe what I was reading. It's no wonder the majority of TGP can't play guitar to save their lives. Stop obsessing over ridiculous things and go practice.

Plus the whole tone is in the fingers. Sure, a lot of it is, but If all tone is in the fingers, then why does everyone obsess over equipment and buy premium amps? Just go buy a metal zone and a spider 1. Morons.

other than physical construction and shielding ... you cant... I just got done making the same argument at Best Buy when they tired selling me a $250 speaker cable. I brought in alligator clips and wired them to their $10000 Martin logans there was no difference

apples and oranges - Hi-Z signal rated in milivolts coming from guitars is more sensitive to cable length, capacitance, than low impedance, relatively "high"voltage (compared to guitar signal) output from amplifier - there is really no reason for tone difference in speaker cables. instrument cables act as low pass filter - higher capacitance sucks more highend.
