Got a new amp today said Mr. Fedex. I threw the box down the steps and eventually got time to plug it in and record/play it.

When I read shit about it I thought the amp was going to be like a sludgy stoner metal/rock kinda gainy amp. I was totally WRONG!

This amp has some tight ass saturated gain. It can almost compare to my Baron K88 but I still like that amp a little bit more.

Anyway. Here's my messy room!

And some packaging!

And some red box!

And another picture of that red box!

And the back of that red box!

And some light bulbs that came with it for whatever reason!

And!
Alright I'll shut up now.

EarCandy HeadCutter

25 watt, all tube, one channel amp. The amp uses 2 6V6s and 3 12ax7s. Right now the amp is pretty crunchy and I'm wondering if I were to swap the 12ax7s out with different ones if it might help smooth out the gain a little.

From left to right we have. Gain, Volume, Treble, Bass, Mids, and I'm not totally sure what all the switches do but the first one sounds like a bright switch, second is definitely a mid cut, last one sounds like a tight switch but I'm really not sure on that.

The amp has some great cleans as well as some crazy gain. I did a clip going through all the different switches playing the same riff so you get an idea of what it sounds like just with the different switches.

At the end I say "Decimator" I mean Tubescreamer sorry.

Cleans (Not much of a clean player so I know this part sucks sorry)

Another Reamp.

No filtering or pedals were used for any other these clips. Just ProRMP->HeadCutter->Mesa 4x12->SM57->Lexicon Lambda

Sucks that it wasn't what you were expecting

Looks classy though....

To be honest even though it wasn't what I was expecting I like it. I might have to get rid of it though. My K88 already covers the ground it does so I don't have too much use for it. :/
