They are beautiful guitars. I had a JP12 7 string for about a year. It was a fantastic instrument. Again, though, the really flat 20" radius kind of threw me at bit. I prefer more of a rounded edge on the fretboard and this one was cut very sharp and would irritate me at a longer gig. I also found that out of all of my guitars, my EBMM units moved more than any of them due to climate change. My other guitars barely move at all in comparison. That being said, it had fantastic sustain and the stainless frets were very well done on it. That middle position with the coils split sound amazing with clean passages. I am a fan of locking trems and while the JP trems are great and work perfectly, I just wasn't a fan.
I ended up selling it without losing too much on it at all, thankfully.
