Nick (@dawnofdreamx97) and Eddy are the only two I trust to mod an amplifier. Literally one of the best damn amp mods I’ve ever heard and it’s his own personal amp.

Yeah but Kemper profiles aren’t a direct substitute for the real thing, especially rolled back volume dynamics which modelers even today still struggle with (the volume dynamics, not the tone dynamics). The magic in his mods is that he aims for the full package - a volume roller’s dream. Not just set to kill mode.

I’ve been working on a similar mod in my own amp and it’s kicking my ass. Stability problems become challenging even when using coax. It just outlines Eddy’s talent since his 72 is PTP which can be even more challenging from a noise perspective.

I don't think I have ever heard Eddy post a clip/mod that didn't sound killer. Guy has the ear.

He told me in an email the other day that his shop is on hold right now but will be back in action soon.. he didn't go into why and I didn't ask. He might be up and running next year.
