So how are the necks on the Edwards Lesters? I don't care for thin "shredder" necks. I especially don't like the necks when they are flexible. As in, when you play the neck can be bent back and the notes go sharp.

From what I've heard, they are very close to the '59 carve which sits inbetween the the slim '60 and the fat '58. For an idea, go to your local GC and pick up a LP Vintage Mahogany...it has the '59 carve.

Our rhythm guitarist has 2 Edwards. On his Standard, it feels similar to a wide-fat carve on my PRS CU22. A bit thicker, but not by much. On his Custom, it has the thickest neck of any guitar I've ever had the chance to hold. It's super fat.

Really? They must be real inconsistent! That black Edwards LP Custom of mine (that Oleg now has) had a thinner neck on it (just like my '71 Custom, actually.)

Must be. Everyone who picks that Custom up has the same reaction of "Holy shit, it's the size of a baseball bat....but I like it"

Despite being gigantic, it's also really comfortable to play, especially for lead work. Now if it just didn't have those damn EMG's in it!
