Effects loop hum

Im trying to fix an amp remotely for a cool dude. He has a 100b I beleive thats an Exctasy? hums only when loop is on. Are the heaters center tapped or the 100 ohm technique? thank you .

While you're at it, if you can find out why there's a volume drop in the loop, that would probably benefit everyone on this forum :D

the dude has already been thru bogner and I guess they are done trying. they shortened a ribbon cable helped a little but then gave up, from what the customer says. I know on my own builds, i had to seperate the grounds of the send and return from the grounds on the output jacks. For some reason that caused some hum. Seperate grounds a few inches apart helped. go figure. ripple effect I guess. Problem is I cant get a schem If i had a schem I could solve it no prob even if it means changing the loop a little. he says its a 100b can anybody help.
