Thanks for the info and photos, but there is no way I would need a rig like that- yet any way! Besides I like the Pedaltrain. Keep it in mine for the future, though.
Return the Pedal Train, get a GCX and just mount the pedals in a rack drawer. One rack space for the GCX, two spaces for the drawer. Put the Ground Control Pro on the floor and power it from your rack over the MIDI cable. You will not believe how much your tone improves doing that.
Put the GC Pro on the Pedaltrain, along with a wah, tuner and expression pedal Problem solved !
That's what I'm going back to (or at least intending to go back to), MIDI and switchers are soooo cool to use live, it's well worth the price and weight...
I posted that to show the size and using a GCX switcher with the Ground Pro there is no noise. Put the pedals on a tray and keep the pedals out of the loop til u need them. A 4 space rack ontop of the amp and a single midi cable to the GP makes it quiet and simple. Oh and thanks!
