What effects units are there that do relay switching to control the amp channel switching besides the G Major and G System?

Rocktron Multivalve
Nobels MF2 midi pedal
Behringer Midipedal

That's exactly why I'm asking. The Einstein :) That Amp gizmo looks like a good solution. Its a wee bit pricey though.

Basically, I love the idea that I can store patches that will change channels on the amp. Its just that I want to not only switch the 3 modes on Channel 1 (I have the G Major Switching Out plugged into the Footswitch Mod jack right above the 4ohm speaker jack), but be able to switch to Channel 2 for my high gain presets in the G Major.

Rocktron Replifex, if I remember correctly...?
yep, Replifex will switch two latching switches, via a T-R-S stereo jack. cool unit--i used one for 5 years or so. but i think the OP needs more than two things switched per patch.

I agree withMolten get something after market and then use any FX. A used Axess CFx4 is $100.

Yea, they sometimes have limitations :)
I use a G-major with my Caliber 50, and really only need one of the relays(?)
Not very clean, very heavy, and very heavy with lots of mids from the G-major plus delay :D

I keep it quite simple for a MIDI-switched rig, hehehe.

there might be a way around your dilema (dilemna?) whatcha tryin to do ?

Jerry, the Einstein has 2 channels: The 1st with 3 very unique modes called Clean, Texas and Mega. The 2nd is a single mode straightforward high gain. There is a "Footswitch mod" that allows you to switch through modes 1.1,1.2,1.3 and 2 giving you in essence a 4 channel amp. A stereo jack is installed just above the 4ohm jack for custom footswitches sold by Switch Doctor and others.

Now, what I wanted to do was use the G Major to control which channel the amp is on by using relay switching. So I can get it to switch between Ch. 1 and Ch. 2 and between the two Masters OR between the 3 modes on Ch. 1 just fine. However, I can't get it to do both.

I've explained that already in the Diezel forum . . .

Yes, and the Amp Gizmo you recommended is the perfect solution. I was just giving Jerry a little background info.

After seeing thst it boils down to the G Major and the Replifex, I'm not sure the G Major can be beat in it's price range.
