There doesn't seem to be many clips around with the Eggie amps live so I thought I'd post this one. This was from a recent show for a new band I'm in. I'll warn you...It's just good old fashioned classic rock, nothing special as far as songs go. It's a long clip too-several songs, but you can skip thru
.... But, the point of this is to hear the Egnater gear live. I used an M4 thru RT2/50 power amp into an old Marshall 412 with X-pattern V30 and old 75s. Both poweramp channels on---one to each side of the cabinet. 5881 on ch1 and E34L on ch2. Most of the time on the EG3/4 module, with treble bleed cap removed from the tube board. Switching between Ch A for rythym and Ch B for leads. Gmaj2 for delay. Guitar is my Goldtop Carvin CS4 w/ an old JB in the bridge.
The singer was playing as well and used my Mod 50 w/another EG3/4 ,unmodded, into a 1x12 cab.
This was recorded with Zoom Q3. I dropped the stereo track into ProTools and added a mastering plug in to level everything out.
I think both amps sound great live, even through the PA in a big room. My apologies again for the regurgitated classic rock
