Egnater modules (really) need mods?

Well, shipping to USA from here is more than 35.- Euro one way. I had to send a Fulltone pedal back to USA once, cause it didn't work properly, and spent a couple of hours at the custom office to have all the paperwork done.

Well, custom policy drives me crazy, sorry, and I get angry, when I think about it (globalization - one world? Seems not to be for everyone!). But that is another story!

I'll take your advise and have a look to salvation, if i need a mod, not sure yet. Do you have experience personally with this mods?

I had a Salvation modded Randall XTC that was definitely better than a stock one. However, I found out that I could get pretty similar tones with a B channel of a stock EG3/4 so I traded it for something else. When you are living that close to Anthony, you have to try his work. :)
 
Thanks to all of you and your answer.

I just have one Egnater module yet (SL), having the SL2 on the way. Though I think, Eganter modules do not need to be modded, I'd like to hear/have the GnR module, everybody is recomending. But I couldn't contact Jeff Hilligan, so the SL2 will do it for me.
