Guys, what is the difference really?

I would say i guess more wattage give more articulate and tight gain, and more headroom in the cleans.
I am correct?
Is it better 100 than 50?

thnx

Constantine

100 is double as much as 50. so its double as good^^ if it would only go to 11...
now seriously: yeah your right, but i bet that nobody could hear the difference in a full band context.

For cleans in the band context I would prefer
the 100 watt version. The 50 watter is a bit
more smooth in the power amp.

I agree to this, and it is obvious that in live situation wattage mean more crisp and more heard room.

WHat about gain and more specific what about studio work? I do not care about live.

Could u say that 100 watt will be more brutal?

I can't comment on the 100w but I bought the 50W head, and it is brutal as hell if that is what you want to. Loud too... more than enough
