Hi Peter and all. Do they make a foot switch to not only change the channels but to turn on and off the FX loop for the Einstein head? or is it something you need made for ya? Thanks!!
How do you like the Einstein? Since my band broke up I am thinking of selling my Boogie rack. I keep comparing it to the VH4S and always like the Diezel better. I am not an FX guy (although I thought I was when I got a mint used G-Force cheap and abrely used a lot of the FX) and my music I write all I need is a pristine clean channel I can run a chorus pedal thru like the Vh4S and a dirty nice rhythm tone. Not a lead tone, just rhythm. If I wanna practice leads I'll go with the VH4S Does the Einstein at least come with a foot switch to change the channels?
I think it was supposed to come with the footswitch to change the channels and the master volumes, but mine didn't. I just use a marshall 2 button footswitch and it works fine.
To answer the other part of your question, I love my Einstein. It has a great clean and honestly I think it has the best mid gain sounds of all the Diezels, minus the Schmidt which I haven't played yet. The high gain stuff is great as well and overall I think it would be a great complement to your VH4.
Good choice. I owned my Herbert and an Einstein at the same time. I felt, you could pretty much do everything the Einstein could do with the Herbert and then some. Perhaps the Einstein had a little better cleans. I does come with a footswitch that switches between master volumes and channels 1 & 2.

Thanks man. yeah plus I like the Midi on/off FX switches of the Herbert. I have 2 Ground Controls also. One of the old thin ones and a GC pro. So one for General VH4S and one for Captain Herbert!!
