Hi again...
just wondering how well the einstein copes with drop tuned guitar?
Some of the stuff i play has the guitar tuned down 2 steps, mainly post-rock and post-metal music.
How do you think the einstein would stand up to this?
Thanks again

excellent! :P
Ive played some amps in similar tunings and the distortion has become abit to fuzzy sounding for me.
Would you say the einstein is capable of getting a fairly unstable/loose but brutal sounding rythme sound?
Or is it more geared towards tight compressed tones? (metalica esq. metal tones)
Thanks,
Luke

As far I can justice, the Diezels have no loose sound or feel.

Any comments from the guys ?

The einstein is incredible in low tuning. My gibson is in drop C and it's really fat and no fuzzy if you don't want...powerful "mute" is there. (i don't know if it's the right word in english... sorry).
I use a BBE sonic stomp and a cp9+ compression when i need and it's awesome !!!
Peter is the master you didn't know?? :P
One incredible month with my einstein, somewhere between tool tone and korn tone, or what you want ! very versatil !

I have a guitar tuned down to A and the einstein works fine with it. de tuning doesnt affect the tones you are able to get out of this amp, its really ROXXOR

Riffing on a seven string through a Diezel is like standing in the tunnel whilst a high speed train is rushing towards you - definately not loose or muddy.
