Einstein issue: going dead and coming back

Can anyone shed some light? i ve had my einstein 100 for 3 years now. in the past 2 months there have been 4 times that while i was playing the amp went silent as if the guitar chord was problematic. In the begining i was sure it was my guitar cable but after various experiments i realised it s not the guitar cable. maybe a loose conection in the head? it rarely happens, but it kills my confidence when gigging or even jaming. Thanx.

Tubes ?I know that when pre amp tubes or powers start to go it can cause similar problem.

please unplug the amp and tighten the clambs
in the preamp sockets.

How would you go about tightening the clamps in the sockets?

Do you need a special tool?

Not something I need to do at the moment but I like to aquire the knowledge so that should a similar problem occur on my Einstein I will know where to look.
