Hey folks I recently purchased an Eleven Rack as part of a killer package, I got the 11R, A furman power conditioner both mounted into a 6 space rack for under $500.. I have been playing around with it and have pretty much figured it out as far as running it as a preamp or practice setup but im still struggling with the recording part of the process but i guess that will come in due time. The thing that really caught me off guard was how great the amp modeling is on this device. There seems to be something in the software that just adds a little more natural type of sound and some of the unique harmonics that tube amps produce now its close to the tones of the amps it models and they all sound great, they are not tube amps but as far as everything else out there they seem to hit the tone very well as well as the touch sensitivity that is inherent to tube amps (I have never used any version of AxeFx so i cant comment on that system). The interface for the presets and the editing of presets and even the creation of new presets is very simple and hassle free and is actually alot better than any other modeler ive ever used.. once you get to the EQ part of tone editing its as simple as any regular amp out there, I have not really delved into the editing and application of most of the built in effects but from the sound of the effects on the many presets they are top notch. The software that comes with the 11R is a little old, its protools 8 and I am considering taking a class to learn the software and if i do take a class on it im going to shell out the bucks for the most recent version, In the little time that I have spent fiddling with PT i have not by any means learned even the most basic parts of the program but hell if I dont get the protools right ill still have a kick ass Pre-Amp
